The UP Fighting Maroons barged into the winning column in Season 85 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) women’s volleyball tournament by defeating the University of the East (UE) Lady Warriors on March 6 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Nemenzo at the recent signing of the memorandum of agreement (MOA) between UPD and the UP Gamma Sigma Pi Fraternity Alumni Association, Inc. (UP-GSPFAAI) for the establishment of the UP-GSPFAAI scholarship program. The UP-GSPFAAI is a non-stock, non-profit organization that promotes students’ welfare and quality education, among others.
