National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development (NISMED) Hostel
NISMED is a popular venue for seminars, workshops, conferment of honorary degrees among others. It is also a research institute attached to the College of Education established in 1964. It is a center for research, curriculum development, teacher training, and science and math education and extension work. (FEB. 23)—It was not yet 6 p.m. but the Bahay ng Alumni was filling up with School of Economics alumni, all excited and dressed to the nines, looking for familiar faces: classmates, friends and professors. As expected, batch mates gravitated towards each other, eager to catch up on each other’s lives.
