More than 300 UPD students graduate summa cum laude

At the 112th General Commencement Exercises of UP Diliman (UPD), 305 students graduated summa cum laude. This is the most number of graduates who received the highest honor awarded by the University in a single class. They led the 4,478 graduates–3,359 at the undergraduate level and 1,119 at the graduate level. UPD is top performing school at REE licensures

(SEPT. 9)—UP Diliman ranked first among the top performing schools (those who fielded 25 or more examinees and with at least 85% passing percentage) in the August 2019 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, with all 33 of its examinees passing on their first try. UPD graduate ranks 8th in ME boards

(SEPT. 2)—Andryx Lyndon Martinez, a graduate of the College of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering, ranked 8th in the August 2019 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination with a 93 percent rating. (MAY 30)⎯Over 20 researches from the School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) were featured in its first student research colloquium, held on May 20 at the University Library Lobby.  The morning session consisted of undergraduate students presenting research proposals while the afternoon session was devoted to graduate-level research.  Two classes were involved. (JUN. 16)–UP Diliman (UPD) graduate Kim Robert C. de Leon notched the top spot in the June 2016 Environmental Planning Licensure Examination where 542 out of 1,010 examinees passed.
