UPD honors former Chancellor Tabujara

Tabujara, the man who gave exemplary service to the University, steering it through the aftermath of the EDSA Revolution and towards the end of the 20th century. Necrological service. Ernesto G. Tabujara, 85

By Anna Regidor (JUN. 20)—The UP Diliman (UPD) community is one with the family of former UPD Chancellor Ernesto G. Tabujara, who passed away this morning at the Philippine Heart Center in Quezon City. He was 85. In an interview with UPDate, his lawyer son Ernesto Tabujara Jr. said his father died at 7 a.m. this morning of heart failure caused by multiple organ failure. Vocal colors fill Balay Tsanselor on Independence Day

(JUN. 19)—Music filled the Balay Tsanselor in the morning of Independence Day as the Voices of Aloha of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (UH-Mānoa) paid the Chancellor a visit as part of a tour of the Philippines from Jun. 8 to 17.  UP Diliman was the fourth stop on their 8-leg performance.
