UPD has 7 COVID-19 cases
Seven frontliners of Kanlungang Palma (KP) and UP Health Service (UPHS) tested positive for COVID-19. They were isolated and UPHS traced their contacts. Upon consultation with a Philippine General Hospital (PGH) Infectious Disease Specialist, KP and UPHS operations will continue. Read UPD COVID-19 Bulletin for more details.

ASFA gives back
(JUN. 19)—A fundraising project was launched on Jun. 15 to benefit communities near the UP College of Fine Arts (CFA).
Dubbed as “#TulongSining,” the project is an initiative of Sining Fine Art (ASFA), an affiliate organization of the university-wide cultural national-democratic mass organization Alay Sining.
Through #TulongSining, ASFA artist members will accept commissioned works except requests that are considered NSFW (not safe for work) or hate speech. The participating artists’ portfolios can be viewed at the ASFA’s Facebook page.

Reflect to protect
(JUN. 19)—Close to 4,000 reflective sashes were recently distributed to bikers for free by the UP Mountaineers through its “KitaKa” Project that aims to help make bikers more visible to other motorists especially in high-traffic areas.
First distributed on Jun. 3 in observance of World Bicycle Day, the group’s distribution also coincided with the first week of the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) in the National Capital Region which saw an influx of commuters and motorists on the streets rushing to go to work.

1. The Public Forum is part of the nomination process for the principalship of the UP Integrated School (UPIS).
2. The Public Forum will feature the following:
a. presentation of accomplishments by the incumbent,
b. presentation of vision, goals, programs and projects by the nominee/s, and
c. open forum (through Zoom chat).
