WPS brings arts and sciences together
Kanlungan at Kasarinlan: An Arts and Science Exhibit on the West Philippine Sea (Kanlungan at Kasarinlan), recently opened at the UP Diliman (UPD) Marine Science Institute (MSI) Marine Biodiversity Resources and Information System (MBRIS) building.
The exhibit showcased the West Philippine Sea’s (WPS) rich marine biodiversity, the fight of every Filipino for its sovereign rights, the country’s efforts in resolving conflicts through peaceful resolutions, and the collective efforts in protecting the country’s natural heritage.

UPD has 6 new professors emeriti
Three academicians (mathematical and physical sciences) of the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) Philippines, a retired judge of the International Criminal Court (ICC), a health economics expert, and a political scientist are the latest professors emeriti from UP Diliman (UPD). UPD, USAID ink MOU for Open RAN lab
UP Diliman (UPD), through the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) of the UPD College of Engineering (COE), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Philippines to set up another laboratory on campus, the Open Radio Access Network (RAN) Laboratory.

The UP Office of Athletics and Sports Development (OASD) under the UP Diliman Office of the Chancellor and nowheretogobutUP (NTGBUP) recently renewed their partnership with the STATS Technical Sportswear (STATS), a subsidiary of Januarius Holdings Inc. The first National Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering Conference (NEECECon) was met with overwhelming response, with over 300 participants from the industry, government, and academic institutions attending the two-day conference from July 18 to 19 at the Novotel Manila Araneta City.
