Known fondly as Doc Mic, Miclat was an acclaimed writer, poet, China studies expert, translator and Philippine Studies professor. Memorandum No. OVCAA-MTTP 21-029: Guidelines on Affirming Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) Students’ Names, Pronouns, and Titles

The UP Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs released the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies Guidelines on Affirming Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) Students’ Names, Pronouns, and Titles.   According to Memorandum No. OVCAA-MTTP 21-029, the TGNC guidelines are “in keeping with Chancellor Fidel Nemenzo’s vision of an inclusive, diverse, and public service-oriented UP”.
