All nine examinees from UP Diliman (UPD) passed the September 2023 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination, giving the University a 100% passing rate, with one examinee landing in the top 10.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,218 of the 3,945 board takers passed the examination given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Oriental Mindoro, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, Ian Patrick Perez ranked fourth in the licensure examination with an 88.7% rating.

According to data released by the PRC, UPD examinees have consistently performed well in these examinations, posting a 100% passing rate since 2018.
