UPD aces March 2026 LEPT

All 19 first-time examinees from UP Diliman (UPD) passed the elementary level of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), notching a 100% passing rate, with four making it to the Top 10: Bea Kathleen De Guia Perlas (fourth place, 94.20%), Katrina Galang Gaza (sixth place, 93.60%), Rhyjale Kate Binondo Cavalida (eighth place, 93.20%), and Kyra Ammi Dizon (ninth place, 93.00%).  

Additionally, UPD examinees for the secondary level earned a 98.18% passing rate for the University, with three of the passers placing in the top 10. Natsumi Reyes placed fifth (94.20%), Mikaela Anja Reyes placed ninth (93.40%), and Shaina Marie Obis Villareal placed 10th (93.20%).

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 18,376 of the 32,796 examinees passed the LEPT for the elementary level (56.03% passing rate) while, 45,001 of the 61,561 examinees passed for the secondary level (73.10% passing rate). The examination was given last March 15 in 41 testing centers across the country.
