The UP College of Law (UP Law) topped the 2024 Bar Examinations, along with five UP Law graduates who occupied the other highest spots. The Supreme Court of the Philippines released the list of passers on Dec. 13.
Kyle Christian G. Tutor placed first with a passing rate of 85.7700%. Meanwhile, five other passers from UP Law placed fourth, fifth, sixth, 17th, and 20th in the exam.
They are John Philippe E. Chua (fourth place, 84.2800%), Jet Ryan P. Nicolas (fifth place, 84.2650%), Maria Lovelyn Joyce S. Quebrar (sixth place, 84.0600%), Reland J. Cuevas (17th place, 82.8700%), and Charles Kenneth F. Lijauco (20th place, 82.7950%).
The 2024 Bar Examinations, held on Sept. 8, 11, and 15, had more than 10,000 takers. Of these, 3,962 passed.
