Six UPD grads top Geodetic Engineering Boards

(AUG. 26)—Six of the country’s top ten newest Geodetic Engineers are from UP Diliman.

In the latest results of the August 2014 Geodetic Licensure Examinations released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Ivy Elaine Aguilar Cadalzo topped the exams with a rate of 89 percent.

Joining Cadalzo in the top 10 are Brent Niko Baltazar Dargantes (5th place, 86.60%), Alexis Richard Cervania Claridades (6th place, 85.40%), Marvy Bagarra Funtilon, Ben Hur Saculo Pintor and Therese Anne Montanez Rollan (all at 7th place, 85%).

According to the PRC, only 179 out of 479 examinees (37.37%) passed the licensure examination. Thirty-six of UPD’s 37 examinees made the cut.

Registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card and Certificates of Registration is on September 1 and 2. The date and venue for the oath-taking ceremony will be announced later.
