UP Law hosts drug policy summit
Policy makers, diplomats, law enforcers, and media personalities, were but a few of the participants at the launch of the Philippine Drug Policy and Law Reform Summit that the UP College of Law (UP Law) hosted.

MSI honors Gomez, renames its building
The UP Diliman (UPD) Marine Science Institute (MSI) recently honored National Scientist Edgardo D. Gomez, its founder and the institute’s prime driving force, by renaming its building as the Edgardo D. Gomez Hall (Gomez Hall) at the celebration of its 50th founding anniversary.

UP Law is 2024 Jessup Moot Court Competition world champion
The UP College of Law (UP Law) has brought pride to the University as it took the world champion title at the 2024 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition held on April 6 in Washington, DC.

OAT’s seminar on teaching and supporting students with additional needs
To further enhance teaching and have a more inclusive classroom environment, the UP Diliman (UPD) Office for the Advancement of Teaching (OAT) invites UPD faculty members to the seminar Helping SWANs Take Flight on April 15 and 22, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Bocobo Hall.
Organized in cooperation with the Special Education Cluster faculty of the UPD College of Education, the event will focus on teaching and supporting students with additional needs (SWANs).

NCPAG honors FVR with fellowship program
The UP Diliman (UPD) National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG) launched a fellowship program to honor the late Philippine President Fidel V. Ramos (FVR).

UPD renews MOA with FDIP
In a simple ceremony held at the UP Board of Regents’ Room, UP Diliman (UPD) renewed its partnership with the Fluor Daniel, Inc.-Philippines (FDIP) for another five years.
The FDIP is part of the multinational engineering and construction firm FLUOR Corporation.
Under the MOA, FDIP “is a corporation engaged in the business of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction (EPFC), maintenance, and project management across a broad range of industries, whose corporate initiatives, among others, are to uplift social, cultural, and economic growth of the communities in which it is holding business.”

University Job Fair opens
The UP Diliman (UPD) Office of Counseling and Guidance (OCG) said they are expecting some 2,000 UPD students and job seekers at this year’s edition of the University Job Fair (UJF), which carries the theme, Soar Ahead.
The UJF featured over 40 exhibitors from the Philippine industries of real estate, telecommunications, banking, software, food, transportation, finance, energy, and applied behavior analysis services.
