Cultural exchange under the moon

Pangalangan remembered
A memorial service for former UP Diliman (UPD) College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) dean Evelina Asuncion Pangalangan gathered former students, colleagues at the CSWCD, colleagues from National Association for Social Work Education, Inc. Philippines (NASWEI), and members of her family at the college’s Bulwagang Tandang Sora recently.
CSWCD Dean Lenore Polotan-dela Cruz said Pangalangan was a major driving force in the CSWCD’s development.

UPD is top-performing in Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination
UP Diliman (UPD) was the lone top-performing school in the April 2024 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination (EELE) with a 90.91% passing rate and five examinees landing in the top 10.
Fifty examinees from the UPD Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute passed the rigorous exam. To qualify as a top-performing school, an institution must have 50 or more examinees and an at least 80% passing rate.

UP Law is champion of 28th Stetson
Fresh from its win as world champion of the 2024 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, the UP College of Law (UP Law) once again triumphed as the champion of the 28th Stetson Annual International Environmental Moot Court Competition (Stetson IEMCC).
According to the Stetson Law website, this year’s theme is Mountain Gorillas and Impact Assessment, with the UP Law among the 29 universities invited by Stetson Law to participate in the international finals this April.

Four programs of UP Diliman (UPD) have been certified by the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) this April.
