The UP Health Service (UPHS) received a donation of medical equipment worth P500,000 from Southstar Drug, in partnership with Maxicare on Aug. 13 during the awarding ceremonies of the fun run Run for Wellness held in UP Diliman (UPD). On hand to receive the donation was UPHS Director Myrissa Melinda L. Alip, accompanied by UPD Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II and UPD Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs Roehl L. Jamon. Also present were Secretary Teodoro Herbosa of the Department of Health (DOH), Southstar Drug General Manager Mariel Crisostomo, Maxicare President and Chief Executive Officer Christian Argos, Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Robina Gokongwei-Pe, DOH Public Relations Officer and Head Executive Assistant Maria Liavel Badillo-Crisostomo, and Robinsons Retail Holdings Operating Inc.
