According to UPHS Director Oliva Basuel, MD, the three lectures are both timely and relevant, with disaster preparedness being a much-requested topic and stress management being useful for UPD employees.

“Siyempre sa workplace hindi natin maiiwasan na may kaunting stress, lalo na ngayon nagiging madalas ang work from home dahil sa inclement weather, pabago-bago iyong working conditions nila,” she said.

The UPD community is invited on Friday, Sept. 11, 7:30 a.m. to an early morning fun walk for wellness at the UPHS lobby. The walk will begin at the UPHS, go down to Magsaysay Avenue, go down Apacible Street, turn right at Magsaysay Avenue near Ipil Residence Hall, turn right at Roces Street near Yakal Residence Hall, turn right at Kalayaan Residence Hall into Laurel Avenue, and head back to the UPHS building.
