UPD launches webinar series on remote learning

(JAN. 29) — The first of a 4-part webinar series on remote learning is set to launch this February that will feature experts and students sharing the practices, tips and study habits that worked best on remote learning during the last semester.

Set to stream live over the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) Facebook Page and the UP Diliman Facebook Page on Feb. 1, 8, 15, and 22, “Surviving LDR(L): Long Distance/Remote Learning” is presented by OVCSA, Diliman Learning Resource Center, Office of Counseling and Guidance, Office of Student Projects and Activities, and the Office for the Advancement of Teaching in collaboration with Interactive Learning Center Diliman.

The first installment on Feb. 1, 3-5 p.m., is “I Deserve An Explanation! I Deserve An Acceptable Reason! — Coping with Remote Learning.”

Prof. Grace S. Koo of the College of Education and Prof. Jose Antonio R. Clemente of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy Department of Psychology will be on hand to teach best practices.  Meanwhile, current UPD University Freshie Council Chair and Gabay Isko Project Head Robin Jacob L. Traballo from the BS Psychology program will share tips and tricks that worked for him last semester.
