UP Diliman (UPD) gained a 100% passing rate in the April 2024 Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination with two of the examinees landing in the top 10.
All first-time 34 examinees from the UPD Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute passed the difficult exam.
Angelo Barrientos ranked fourth with a 93.5% rating, while Sophielynn Valdez ranked 10th with a 92.6% rating.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 4,436 of 7,005 passed the examination given in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Based on the data released by the PRC, UPD examinees have consistently performed well in this examination, posting a 100% passing rate since 2018.
