UPD gets 100% in Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination

Every single examinee fielded by UP Diliman (UPD) passed the October 2023 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination, giving the University a 100% passing rate, the only one among the top-performing schools to do so.

To qualify as a top-performing school, the institution must have fielded 10 or more examinees and have at least an 80% passing rate. UPD has been consistently landing in the top-performing schools lists since 2018, missing it only twice in the May 2018 and May 2019 boards.

Of the 62 passers from the UPD College of Engineering Department of Chemical Engineering (DChE), five entered the top 10. Jude Nathan Montallana (87.9%) ranked second, Erin Faye Dizon (86.5%) ranked sixth, Jaan Patrick Barreras (85.6%) and Jose Gabriel Escorial (85.6%) both ranked eighth, and Karl Brylle Cablaida (84.7%) ranked tenth.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 651 of 927 passed the licensure examination administered in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Rosales.
