UP Diliman (UPD) now has the Diliman Learning and Development Hub (L&D Hub).
The UPD Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) recently launched the one-stop learning and development website on Feb. 28.

HRDO Director Arthur A. Gonzales III said that the L&D Hub is a comprehensive platform designed for the UPD personnel’s professional growth.
“We created a one-stop destination for all your learning and development needs. We now have integrated into a single intuitive phase a program registration to resource access system,” he said.
Gonzales explained that the L&D Hub features a news feed with real-time updates on training program, a comprehensive training calendar, a mini learning management system with self-paced modules Open UP courses, a photo repository of learning events, a streamlined administrative processes with downloadable L&D forms, and an easy and direct program registration.

“What makes this platform special is its ability to adapt to your needs. The system supports multiple learning styles through videos, interactive presentation, discussion forums, and virtual collaborations spaces,” Gonzales said. “Most importantly, this L&D Hub represents our commitment to your growth. It’s not just a platform, it’s an investment in our collective futures,” he added.
For his part, UPD Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II said the L&D Hub is a significant milestone in the University’s dedication to professional growth and excellence.
“The transformation of our knowledge platform through the L&D Hub exemplifies our proactive response to these evolving demands, positioning our workforce to meet current challenges while preparing for the future opportunities,” Vistan said.
He added that the Hub is more than a digital platform.
“It embodies our comprehensive vision of a unified, accessible, and sophisticated learning ecosystem tailored specifically for the diverse needs of our UPD workforce,” Vistan remarked.

Meanwhile, Vice Chancellor for Administration Adeline A. Pacia said the L&D Hub marked the beginning of the UPD personnel’s transformative journey in their profession.
“We’ve created a platform that makes professional development accessible to everyone regardless of their role or their employment status. It’s designed to fit seamlessly into your daily work life rather than just being another task on your calendar,” she said. “By connecting colleagues with complementary expertise, we’re creating more opportunities to collaborative problem solving,” Pacia said.
