The Philippine Korean Studies Symposium (PKSS) since its first organization in 2012 has provided a forum for Korean studies scholars and educators in the Philippines to gain and exchange new knowledge and share their insights on Korea. The objectives of PKSS are (1) to promote academic research on Korean studies by Filipino scholars here and abroad, (2) to strengthen Korean studies as area studies, and (3) to develop networks with both local and international institutions.
