You’ve got UP email!

(AUG. 13)—Emails at this time are very important, even a necessity.

At UP, incoming freshmen are required to have a UP email address (@up.edu.ph) which they will use for official businesses within and outside the University. And some concerns they might have about their UP email, especially now that classes are drawing near, were recently addressed by Gabay Isko.

“We know that a lot of the students are excited and somewhat confused on how to request their very own university mail. The more that you read, the more things you will know,” Gabay Isko stated in its Facebook page.

Gabay Isko aims to provide UP freshmen an avenue to ask for help, and easily access and understand college-related information, processes and materials.  It is a project under UP ALYANSA’s 3-week leadership program, BIDA ISKO 2020.

Gabay Isko posted answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) they received.  To benefit students and other UP constituents using free data, Gabay Isko put captions and links in each image.

The infographics contain information on emails for UP employees, students, alumni and graduates and its corresponding privileges and perks. It also has information on access to Canva for Education, a third-party application graphic design tool which teachers and those with education account email (.edu) can use in producing online and printed teaching materials.

For inquiries and clarifications, Gabay Isko can be reached through its Facebook page or through gabay.isko@gmail.com.

For the UP alumni email account, the requirements are:
-a degree/certificate holder
-filled out alumni update form
-copy of any government ID
