A team of UPD students is vying for a spot in the finals roster of the 29th edition of L’Oréal Brandstorm, an international innovation competition for students.
Team Collove, composed of students John Cagape, (3rd year BS ChE, College of Engineering), Jamila Domingo (3rd year BSBAA, Cesar E. A. Virata School of Business) and Alyssa Facundo (3rd year BS OT, UP Manila), was recently named as one of two national champions in the L’Oréal Brandstorm 2021 PH National Finals.
The UPD community is encouraged to participate and support the team in the online voting which will end on May 7, 2021. Topping the poll will earn the team a slot in the finals roster of the competition.
Collove’s winning entry is the L’Oreal In-Style Assistant or Lia, a one-stop shop app that lets users scan hairstyles or looks that they like from a photo or a drama, test it on themselves using the in-app hair style templates created by L’Oreal experts, then have a special L’Oreal hair kit delivered to their home or book an appointment with partner salons, all inside LIA.
