The third and fourth installments of the Linguistics Special Lecture Series 2022 of the UP Diliman Department of Linguistics will be held on Friday, November 4, at 10 a.m. via Facebook and YouTube Live, with guest speakers Anil Thakur, PhD and Sanjukta Ghosh, PhD of the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi.
The lecture series will feature topics on “Indian Linguistic Diversity: A Brief Outline,” to be presented by Thakur, and “Cross-cultural Study of Verbal and Visual Metaphors in the Advertisements” by Ghosh.
