The UP Diliman (UPD) College of Mass Communication announced that Manuel Urbano Jr., popularly known on television, film, and the internet as “Mr. Shooli,” is this year’s “UP Gawad Plaridel” awardee.
Urbano is an actor, satirist, and advertising creative.
The awarding ceremonies will be held on October 11, Wednesday, 2 p.m., at the UPD Film Institute Film Center’s Cine Adarna.
