Catch the “Balik Scientist Program Seminar and Workshop Series: Advanced Manufacturing of Metallic Materials” on Dec. 9, Monday, 10:30 a.m., at the UP Diliman Department of Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering (DMMME) Conference Room and via Zoom.

The resource speakers are Jubert Pasco, PhD, an instructor of mechanical engineering, and Clodualdo Aranas Jr., PhD, a UPD Balik Scientist and an associate professor. Both are faculty members at the University of New Brunswick, Canada.

Pasco will present the lecture “Phase Transformation Behavior of Additively Manufactured Co-Cr-Mo Alloy.”

Aranas will discuss the “Introduction to Directed Energy Deposition (DED) Additive Manufacturing.”
