Graduates from the UP Diliman (UPD) College of Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) occupied seven of the top spots in the October 2024 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination.
Leading the 27 UPD passers are Patrick John Santisidad in first place with a 91.90% rating, followed by Aaron Clark Isurita in second place (90.00%), and Marion Joseph Uy in third place (89.70%).
Placing fifth is Mark Nixon Carvajal with an 88.50% rating, followed by Jeremiah Sucgang in sixth place (88.40%), Michelle Ong in seventh place (88.20%) and Terence Daniel Manansala in eighth place (88.10%).
UPD is also one of three top performing schools for this round of examinations. To qualify as a top performing school, an institution must have 30 or more examinees and have at least 80% passing rate. The University garnered 84.38%.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 999 of 2,172 examinees passed the licensure examinations administered in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
The University posted even better results at the October 2024 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination, with all 16 examinees passing. Uy also placed second in the rankings with a 92.00% rating.
