All 24 first-time examinees from UP Diliman Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute passed the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examinations, giving the University a 100% passing rate. In addition, two of them landed in the top 10 successful examinees.
Leading the successful batch was John Labrador, who placed first with his 94.25% rating. Meanwhile, fellow examinee from UPD Geoffrey Gabriel Rosales placed 10th with his 92.10% rating.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 3,769 of 6,556 passed the examination given in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
