A UP Diliman (UPD) alumnus emerged as the top examinee of the February 2025 Master Plumbers Licensure Examination. The University had 12 successful examinees, with four in the top 10.
Rowill Christian Rempillo led the successful examinees with an 87.10% rating. The other Top 10 placers from UPD are Marian Chloe Espina (fifth place, 85.5%), Rafaella Leonida (sixth place, 85.30%), and Jeremie Gabrielle Gregorio (10th place, 84.80%).
Rempillo graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the UPD College of Engineering.
Meanwhile, UPD ranked second among the top-performing schools for the examination with an 85.71% passing rate.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 1,475 of 3,340 passed the examination given in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, and Tacloban in February 2025.
