(May 18)—Arvin D. Sanchez, a graduate of the College of Engineering’s (CoE) Institute of Civil Engineering, grabbed 5th place in the May 2015 Civil Engineering Licensure Examinations with a rating of 91.60 percent, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Sanchez graduated from UP Diliman with a degree of BS Civil Engineering, magna cum laude, in December 2014.

According to the PRC, 21 out of 27 examinees from UP Diliman passed the Civil Engineering licensure exam. Overall, 1,361 out of 4,311 exam takers passed the exam given by the Board of Civil Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tacloban this May 2015.—Prof. Ma Lea Diola, CoE , image by Arvin Sanchez
