UPD gets 100% passing in latest Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination

UP Diliman (UPD) performed excellently in the May 2024 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination, with a 100% passing rate.

All 28 examinees from the UPD Department of Chemical Engineering passed, with four of them landing in the top 10. This also put the University at the number-one spot in the list of top-performing schools. To qualify as a top-performing school, an institution must have 10 or more examinees with at least an 80% passing rate.

Leading the UPD passers was Andrei Abiog, ranking third with an 85.50% rating. He was followed by Jan Czedrick Mendoza (5th, 84.90%), Dannah Celine Gutierrez (7th, 84.60%), and Kim Dela Peña (9th, 84.40%).

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that of the 928 examinees, only 640 passed the examination administered in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, Iloilo, Legazpi, and Lucena.
