All 41 examinees from UP Diliman (UPD) passed the October 2026 Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination, earning the University a 100% passing rate.
Leading the passers from UPD was Axel M. Labing-isa, an instructor at the Institute of Chemistry. He was one of six successful examinees who garnered 95%, the highest rating in the licensure examination.
Labing-isa earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, magna cum laude, at UPD. He also garnered 93.35%, the eighth highest rating among the successful examinees of the October 2026 Chemists Computer-Based Licensure Examination.
The Professional Regulation Commission announced in its website that 914 of 1,197 examinees passed the Chemists Computer-Based Licensure Examination, and 3,250 of the 3,742 examinees passed the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemistry in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Puerto Princesa, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
