UPAA RESETS DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS
TO THE 2020 DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARDS

The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA), in view of the
COVID-19 pandemic protocols, is extending the deadline for nominations to the
2020 UPAA Distinguished Alumni Awards to February16, 2021 (Tuesday). This
was announced by UPAA President and Alumni Regent Reynaldo C. Laserna.  The
awarding ceremonies will be held at the 2021 UP General Alumni Homecoming to
be set on a more propitious date that will be published sometime before the event.

The awards are conferred on UP alumni who have demonstrated in their respective
chosen fields of endeavor exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions
that bring about substantial benefits to society and distinct honor to the
University.  Recognition will also be given to families with at least three
successive generations of UP alumni.

Nomination forms are available at the UPAA, Room 211, Ang Bahay ng Alumni,
Magsaysay Avenue, UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City.  For more information,
