UP commemorates the “Day of Remembrance,” the anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law by President Ferdinand E. Marcos on September 21, 1972, through symbolic forms of dissent that demonstrate the refusal to be silenced.
The video references events from the Martial Law era and the rampant censorship during that time. Using different modes of noise-making, UP makes its voice heard, resonating within and beyond the University.
