The book “What Light It Can Hold: The Philippine Short Story in the Twenty-First Century” will be launched on May 16, at 1 p.m. via Facebook Live.

The book is “a collection of contemporary Filipino fiction that reflects the evolving landscape of Philippine society.” It is edited by Gerald Burns, PhD, a professor emeritus at Franklin Pierce University, and Jose Dalisay Jr., PhD, a professor emeritus at UP.

The event is organized by the UP Diliman Institute of Creative Writing (ICW) and the Milflores Publishing as part of the “Panayam sa Panitikan sa Panahon ng Pandemya Series.”
