Everyone is invited to the special lecture “Theorizing the Gendering of Transcultural Consumer Districts in Japan: A Case Study of the Linguistic Landscape of Shin-Okubo Koreatown” on Jan. 26, Monday, 2–4 p.m., at the UP Diliman (UPD) College of Social Sciences and Philosophy Health and Wellness Center.

The resource speaker is Thomas Baudinette, PhD, senior lecturer in global studies at School of International Studies, Macquarie University, New Zealand.

The event is organized by the UPD Department of Linguistics, together with the UP Korea Research Center.
