During the roundtable discussion, Guillermo will be joined by the panelists Patricio N. Abinales, PhD, a retired professor of the Department of Asian Studies, University of Hawai’i, Mānoa; Carlo A. Arcilla, PhD, director of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute; Caesar A. Saloma, PhD, professor emeritus at the UPD National Institute of Physics; Bonifacio P. Ilagan, a multi-awarded Filipino playwright, screenwriter, filmmaker, and journalist; and Patrick I. Claudio, chief history researcher of the Human Rights Violations Victims’ Memorial Commission.
The event is organized by the UPD Research Ethics Board as part of the “2025 UPD REB Monthly Ethics Seminar Series.”
