Everyone is invited to the free concert “Mga Tugtugin ng Paglaya” on June 10, Saturday, 6 p.m., at the UP Theater.
This is presented by the UP System Office of the President, UP Symphony Orchestra (UPSO), and UP Diliman College of Music (CMu) in celebration of the Philippines’ 125th Independence Day.
The event will also launch the 60-piece UPSO Chorus, made up of choristers from various colleges, institutions, and campuses of UP, led by chorus director Noemi Binag.
The UPSO led by music director Chino Toledo will be joined by two CMu faculty members Clement Acevedo (pianist) and Raymond Leslie Diaz (baritone).
