The first installment of the UP Film Institute’s (UPFI) series of screenings of Martial Law (ML) films with talkback sessions by UPFI critics will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2 p.m. at the Cine Adarna of the UPFI Film Center.

UPFI will hold a screening of National Artist Lino Brocka’s 1975 film “Maynila sa mga Kuko ng Liwanag” followed by a talkback session with Rolando B. Tolentino, PhD, a UPFI professor and former UP Diliman (UPD) College of Mass Communication dean.

This is supported by the UPD Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts as part of “ML@50: Tugon at Tindig ng Sining.”
