Join the UP Diliman Institute of Civil Engineering’s (ICE) face-to-face event “Coastal Engineering Lecture Series” on Nov. 19, 2–4 p.m., at the David M. Consunji Theater, ICE Main Building.

The guest speakers are Tomoo Iba, a principal engineer at the Project Management and Engineering Department, Global Company, Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, and Tomoya Shibayama, an institute professor at Chuo University in Japan and professor emeritus at both Waseda University and Yokohama National University.

Iba will present the lecture “Actual Procedure of Coastal Development at Lingayen Coast in Pangasinan.”

Shibayama’s lecture is “Coastal Engineering and Its Application to Coastal Disaster Study.”
