CSWCD gets 100% in social worker boards

The two graduates that UP Diliman fielded in the August 2021 Social Worker Licensure Examination entered the top 10, securing the University a 100-percent passing rate—and the top spot.

Digna Millondaga-De Guzman and Leanne Feliz Ordillano Pastorpide of the College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) passed their examinations with flying colors, taking first (83%) and seventh place (91%), respectively.

Millondaga-De Guzman earned both her master’s in social work and bachelor of science degree in community development from CSWCD. She is a professor at Bataan Peninsula State University.

Pastorpide completed her bachelor of science degree in social work in 2020 also from CSWCD, where she was awarded best research in the Department of Social Work in 2018 for “A Study on the Congruity of Mental Health Services in the University of the Philippines Diliman with Undergraduate Students’ Concern,” which she co-authored.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 612 out of 1,621 individuals passed these examinations, held from Aug. 24 to 26 in the cities of Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
