The Philippine Korean Studies Symposium (PKSS) since its first organization in 2012 has provided a forum for Korean studies scholars and educators in the Philippines to gain and exchange new knowledge and share their insights on Korea. The objectives of PKSS are (1) to promote academic research on Korean studies by Filipino scholars here and abroad, (2) to strengthen Korean studies as area studies, and (3) to develop networks with both local and international institutions.
For its fifth year, PKSS aims to feature the potential of Korean studies in aiding development efforts by providing vital information through quality research. We are inviting scholars working on studies related to Korea and Philippine-Korean relations to submit abstracts on the following themes:
– Development Research and Policy
