The University is committed to conserving basic resources such as water and electricity. It shall regularly monitor the environmental impact of its energy usage and shall set reasonable targets to reduce energy and water consumption.

• reduce consumption of water and electricity
• guarantee water potability for every member of the UP community
• initiate further developments with the help of previous research findings in relation to environmental sustainability and sustainable technologies

To achieve these goals, the University shall…

• set guidelines on the use of electricity and water
• require periodic inspections of each building’s electric and water facilities
• monitor the monthly water and electric consumption of each building
• consciously shift/upgrade to more sustainable technologies
