Examinees from UP Diliman (UPD) topped the electronics engineers licensure examination this October, as shown in the list of October 2025 Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examinations the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released.
Andrei John Chu from the UPD Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) topped the electronics engineers licensure examination with a 92% rating. Eight others of the 59 from EEEI also placed in the top 10 passers with the highest ratings.

They are Jacey Jed Rodriguez (2nd, 91.6%), Ross Mitchel Chavez (4th, 91.4%), Jason Dagami (6th, 90.6%), Danoelle Kristenz Mindanao (7th, 90.4%), Joseph Keerl Cano (8th, 90.1%), John Carlo Crisostomo (9th, 89.9%), Cedric Allen Oria (10th, 89.7%), and Jose Rafael Villavicencio (10th, 89.7%).
Meanwhile, all 44 UPD examinees passed the electronics technicians licensure examination this October. In addition, Roberto Alfonso Naval ranked second top passer with a 90% rating.
UPD ranked first among the top-performing schools in both the electronics engineers and electronics technicians licensure examinations.
The PRC announced that 1,040 of 2,319 passed the Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination and 1,142 of 1,751 passed the Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination given in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
