This May, 16 personnel from various UP Diliman (UPD) units successfully earned their Housekeeping National Certificate II (NC II), while three qualified for their certificate’s renewal, through the Skills Training and Enhancement Program for UPD (STEP UP) on Housekeeping NC II.
Administered by the UPD Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) Human Resource Development and Benefits Division, the program is the office’s first collaboration with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority-National Capital Region (TESDA-NCR).

The HRDO recognized the 19 employees with a graduation ceremony on May 28 at the Balay Kalinaw Conference Hall.
UPD Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II said the event as historic for the University, noting that the training participants are the first batch of UPD personnel trained by TESDA for Housekeeping NC II.

Melanie M. Dajan of the TESDA Women’s Center also delivered a message to the training participants.
