Every examinee from UP Diliman (UPD) passed the March 2026 Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination, with three landing in the top 10.
All 16 electronics engineer examinees from the UPD Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) passed the examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
They were led by Joselito Riego Ramento Jr., who placed third overall with a 93.50% passing rate, followed by Taroh Glico Hijikata, and Christian Nikolai Rabaya who both ranked 8th with a 92% rating.
The PRC announced that 1,692 out of 2,746 passed the exam given in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
In a related development, all 12 electronics technician examinees from EEEI passed the passed the Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination. Jerwin Louie Tecson ranked fourth among the passers, with a 90% rating.
