Every examinee from UP Diliman (UPD) passed the February 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination , giving the University a 100% passing rate.
All 64 examinees from the UPD College of Engineering Department of Mechanical Engineering passed the difficult examination that was administered in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Zamboanga, and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The latest result places UPD at number one among the top-performing schools. The Professional Regulation Commission Board of Mechanical Engineering defined a top-performing school as an institution with 50 or more examinees and an at least 80% passing rate.
