UP Diliman (UPD) has a 100% passing rate at the August 2026 Professional Food Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination. Not only did all 34 examinees from UPD passed, eight of them also belonged to the 10 examinees with the highest scores, among them the top rank.
Placing first among the successful examinees is Mary Julienne Acompañado (89.75% rating). She is followed by Fennie Mae Tanangonan (2nd, 89.50% rating), Angeline de Mesa (8th, 88% rating), Beatriz Florence Abay, Maria Clarissa Tongson, and Klarshane Valad-on (9th, 87.75% rating), and Juliana Mayuga, and Clarissa Antoinette Reynosa (10th, 87.50% rating).

UPD has posted a 100% passing rate in the national food technologists licensure examinations thrice since it was established in 2023.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 705 of 1,063 passed the examination given in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao, and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

In its official Facebook account, the UPD Department of Food Science and Nutrition stated the examinees’ exceptional performance “reflects the hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence of our graduates. Your achievements bring great honor to the Department, the College of Home Economics, and the University. As you begin this new chapter as licensed professionals, may you continue to uphold the highest standards of the profession and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of food science and technology and the communities you serve.”
