UP Diliman (UPD) National Institute of Geological Sciences (NIGS) graduates occupied all but one of the top 10 spots in the November 2025 Geologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination.
Leading the 45 passers from UPD NIGS is Kryzell M. Carmona, a magna cum laude graduate, who placed first with an 86.10% rating. Carmona is followed by Lorenzo Angelo D. Valeriano (second place, 86%), Chester Lloyd R. Lomboy and Marcus Gabriel H. Mendoza (third place, 85.90%), Glenn Y. Vallespin (fourth place, 85.60%), Fenela E. Baclao and Justyn Jay D. Magtanong (fifth place, 85.40%).

Placing sixth is Margiel Altheia T. Guittap with an 84.70% rating, followed by Alyssa Nicole P. Labuan in seventh place (84.60%), Nathaniel C. Angue in ninth place (84.00 %), and Tristan Ivan L. Bernardo in 10th place (83.60%).
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 191 out of 296 examinees passed the examination administered by the Board of Geology in the National Capital Region.
UPD garnered a 97.83% passing rate and was named as the lone top-performing school in the said licensure examination.
