UPD-Bulletin-2021-5
The UP Diliman (UPD) Accounting Office would like to thank the UPD community in extending its continued patience to our office in this challenging time.
We acknowledge the delays that have been happening in the processing of disbursement vouchers (DVs) sent to our office, the reason for the increase of follow-up emails and messages asking for the DVs’ status in the processing flow.
We appeal to our clients and colleagues to extend us more of your patience as our office continues to be affected by the COVID-19 infections since the passing of one of our staff because of the disease. Currently, the Accounting Office has been operating at less than 50 percent since March 8.
Our Pre-Audit Section is operating at 33 percent capacity with only four analysts physically reporting for work inorder to process the DVs. Most of our staff are still under quarantine while some are working on a limited work from home (WFH) capacity until March 18.
It saddens us that recently, two more of our colleagues tested positive and affected the Payroll Section. Eight of 10 Payroll Section staff are on quarantine and will be working on a limited WFH arrangement until March 24.
Please be assured that in spite of these setbacks, the Accounting Office and the whole Office of the Vice Chancellor for Administration remain committed in attending to all concerns, putting premium on the processing of salaries. We remain open for service.
We request for your prayers and we are grateful for your understanding as we strive to provide excellent service.
Once again, our sincerest appreciation and thanks to everyone.
