UPD 100% passing in CCLE and CTLE

UP Diliman posted a 100% passing rate in both the October 2025 Chemists Computer-based Licensure Examination (CCLE) and the Chemical Technicians Licensure Examination (CTLE).

All 47 examinees from UPD passed the CCLE, with two landing in the top 10. Carl Brandon Y. Ong, a magna cum laude graduate, placed second with a 93.65% rating, while Angelo Robert B. Calaguas, a cum laude graduate, placed fifth (92.80%).

Meanwhile, all 22 UPD examinees made the cut in the CTLE, with Sakura Tan-Castillo placing fifth in the top 10 with a 92.50% rating.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 842 of 1,150 passed the CCLE, while 2,320 of 2,766 passed the CTLE. The examinations were administered in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
